Ten Tips for Self Tapes
FAQs
What do I need to submit?
Submissions packages must include a headshot, resume, and TWO recorded pieces organized in a single folder labelled with your Last Name, First Name. Your resume should include a small bio that gives information on who YOU are as a performer. How do you identify? What work are you interested in? What are you passionate about? Help us get to know you as a person and an artist.
How many pieces am I allowed?
Maximum of two recorded pieces no longer than three minutes in length EACH.
What kind of pieces should I submit?
These two videos DO NOT have to be monologues but should showcase you and your best work. They can be a song, monologue, scene with off-camera reader, or dance reel etc. Please do not submit edited tapes, they should be one take. All videos should be filmed with adequate lighting and sound and framed so the performer is in the middle of the screen and clearly visible.
